"Maybe you just can't escape the past.

No one can."

Lead Me Astray is the story of Alexis Willard, a 23 year-old veterinary student who, one night, inadvertently kills a gang member whilst defending his girlfriend, Lacey, from an assault. This leads to a domino effect that reveals his mysterious and violent past, culminating in a deadly game of cat and mouse inside an abandoned prison.

Written and directed by Tom Danger and produced on a budget of $10,000, Lead Me Astray is a throwback to the great Australian exploitation films of the 1970's and 80's, as well as taking cues from atmosphere-heavy and synth-driven films such as John Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13 and Dario Argento's Suspiria
